Notorious DIT is one of the UK’s leading DIT companies. Our credit list ranges from high-end TV and feature films to music videos and award-winning shorts.We offer bespoke on-set digital imaging technology, lab services, equipment hire and dailies colour grading for productions of all sizes. We provide you with bespoke solutions tailored to each individual project, from data wrangling and management to intricate live-grading of multiple cameras.With its roots as a post production house both in Newcastle Upon Tyne and London, Notorious DIT (previously Fantomeline Pictures) began its move into digital imaging technology in 2010.Indie at heart, we’re notorious for working relentlessly to make sure your footage is in safe hands. DIT & Data Management
A range of solutions are available on set to match the needs and budget of any production.
- Data Wrangling. Basic offloading with checksums and QC
- Data Manager. For larger productions managing and basic transcoding
- Near set DIT. Working from one of our mobile DIT vans colour grading rushes ready for the edit
- Livegrade. On-set colour grading, live and working closely with the DIT and camera team
**LAB Services
**
We can process your rushes either near set or from our offices. We can process as standard or with first light grades.
- Editorial Rushes
- Client rushes (for production, director etc)
- LTO and drive archiving
**Location Vehicles
**
With a fleet of vans of different specs we can provide all of our services out on location. Also available with generator so can work independently if required. DIT, edit and LAB services can all be run from our vans if needed. This can often speed up your workflow and give your creatives on set more opportunity to review their work.
**Edit Suites
**
We run AVID as our core editing system for large projects and have the Adobe suite for smaller projects. Our suites are ran as autonomous suites not from a server which reduces costs which can be passed onto our clients. We can supply editors and assistant editors if required.
**Colour Grading & Delivery
**
From our 4k grading suite we provide grading and finishing. You can also screen your film and then enjoy a drink in our bar afterwards.
